1.數(shù)控主板：用于核心控制、運(yùn)算、存儲(chǔ)、伺服控制等。新主板集成了PLC功能。
2.PLC板：用于外圍動(dòng)作控制。新系統(tǒng)的PLC板已經(jīng)和數(shù)控主板集成到一起。
3.I/O板：早期的I/O板用于數(shù)控系統(tǒng)和外部的開關(guān)信號(hào)交換。新型的I/O板主要集成了顯示接口、鍵盤接口、手輪接口、操作面板接口及RS232接口等。
4．MMC板：人機(jī)接口板。這是個(gè)人電腦化的板卡，不是必須匹配的。本身帶有CRT、標(biāo)準(zhǔn)鍵盤、軟驅(qū)、鼠標(biāo)、存儲(chǔ)卡及串行、并行接口。
5.CRT接口板：用于顯示器接口。新系統(tǒng)中，CRT接口被集成到I/O板上。另外，還提供其他一些可選板卡等。

在PLC應(yīng)用方面，我國是很活躍的，近年來每年約新投入10萬臺(tái)套PLC產(chǎn)品，年銷售額30億人民幣，應(yīng)用的行業(yè)也很廣。但是與其它國家相比，在機(jī)械加工及生產(chǎn)線方面的應(yīng)用，還需要加大投入。

我國市場(chǎng)上流行的有如下幾家PLC產(chǎn)品： 施耐德公司，包括早期天津儀表廠引進(jìn)康公司的產(chǎn)品，目前有Quantum、Premium、Momentum等產(chǎn)品；2005年，Te又推出了羅克韋爾公司（包括AB公司）PLC產(chǎn)品，目前有SLC、MicroLogix、ControlLogix等產(chǎn)品；西門子公司的產(chǎn)品，目前有SIMATIC S7-400/300/200系列產(chǎn)；GE公司的產(chǎn)品；日本歐姆龍、三菱、富士、松下等公司產(chǎn)品。
